Disrupciones Indígenas

A highly complex exhibition due to the diversity and volume of artworks, as well as the range of techniques, formats, and interpretive resources involved. The main challenge was to give each piece a specific place within a collective system while addressing its individual installation requirements through custom-designed display cases, plinths, and platforms.
The Mesoamerican greca was adopted as a formal and structuring motif for the museographic design, serving as an organizing principle for both the visitor journey and the exhibition furniture. This geometric pattern enabled a fragmented, non-linear circulation with constant shifts in direction, reinforcing the exhibition’s underlying concept of disruption.
