El París de Modigliani
y sus contemporáneos

El París de Modigliani occupied five exhibition galleries and presented a particular challenge, as it was developed during the Covid-19 pandemic, requiring a comprehensive revision of the museographic design to comply with new circulation, distancing, and occupancy regulations.
The curatorial concept was translated into a spatial narrative evoking an urban journey, as if visitors were moving through the streets of bohemian Paris in the early 20th century. Visual openings, framed views, and moments of spatial compression were carefully articulated to shape the visitor’s experience.
Suspended ceilings reinforced this atmosphere by creating gradual transitions between galleries, ranging from intimate spaces to more open and luminous environments, in dialogue with the exhibition’s thematic sections.
