La grana cochinilla en el arte
Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes
10.11.2017 🡢 04.02.2018
The exhibition design proposed a sequence of open galleries with deep visual axes framing large-scale artworks, creating focal points and moments for contemplation. The concept of “extraction” was translated formally through cuts and angled edges in walls and panels, evoking the act of revealing hidden layers or materials.
The project also involved the construction of a technical airlock system, essential for the environmental control and security of specific artworks. Integrating this system into the architectural and functional framework of the exhibition presented an additional technical challenge.
